AURORA HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME
The Aurora Alumni Association, in cooperation with the Aurora School’s administration, annually inducts outstanding individuals into our Hall of Fame. These inductees are either Alumni who have distinguished themselves as outstanding athletes, alumni who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in their careers, professions, or in society or revered retired teachers and staff members.
Hall of Fame recipients are initially nominated by other Alumni, past and present administrators, coaches, staff members, and community members. Family or self-nominations are not considered. Inductees are selected by a committee chaired by Aurora Association board members, consisting of current and past administrators, coaches, staff members, and previous Hall of Fame inductees.
If you know of a well-qualified Aurora graduate or retired teacher/staff member please review the qualifications below and feel free to submit a nomination. We will contact potential nominees to confirm their interest as a candidate and seek additional information. We retain any nomination material permanently on file of any candidate not selected in their nominating year for future consideration.
ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Aurora Alumni who were gifted athletes and/or coaches who made notable contributions to Aurora Athletics and beyond. Must have graduated at least 10 years ago.
Alumni Accomplishments should include multiple honors and recognitions including:
- Multiple Varsity Letters,
- Aurora record holder, captaincy
- All Conference (League), District, Regional Honors
- Individual or Team State Championships
- Collegiate Athletic participation and accomplishment
- Professional Sports participation and accomplishment
- Demonstrated leadership and positive role model in post-graduation athletic pursuits

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI
Established 2001
Alumni who have accomplished extraordinary achievements in their professional or career related activities, are a positive role model, demonstrated exemplary leadership, and/or made significant contributions to society.
Must have graduated at least 10 years ago.

HONORED EDUCATOR OR STAFF MEMBER
Established 2013
Outstanding and memorable teachers, administrators, or support staff who made significant and positive contributions to the success of Aurora students and the Aurora City Schools. Must have worked a minimum of ten years in the district and be retired for at least three years.
